【高山明】5月25日(月）から9月13日（日）まで、香港の大館 JC Contemporaryにて開催される「THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER」に参加いたします。本展は、国立国際美術館（大阪）、シンガポール・アート・ミュージアム（シンガポール）に収蔵されたコミッション・ワークと作品群によって、文化の交渉と期待への考察を試みます。コロナ禍で開催延期となり、ようやくのオープンとなりました。9月13日までの開催になります。移動が緩和された暁に、香港にお立ちよりの際は、是非ご高覧ください。

Akira Takayama will be participating in ”THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER” at JC Contemporary, Tai Kwun, Hong Kong from May 25 to September 13, 2020. The exhibition They Do Not Understand Each Other brings into dialogue commissions and artworks from the collections of the National Museum of Art, Osaka (NMAO) and the Singapore Art Museum (SAM), which consider the negotiations and expectations of culture. After all, if the premise of culture is representation, then the promise of cultural exchange―as one might reasonably suppose―is understanding.
